What carpet shampooing actually involves in West Hills homes

Most of the carpet we shampoo here is older than the people walking on it. Cut-pile nylon and polyester plush in 1960s-80s valley tracts, often original 20-30 year carpet in bedrooms with UV-faded window bands. Those bands are dye loss.
